Got an aluminum tag as a gift. Turned out great. Shipping seemed a bit much for what it is but I’ll continue to get bag tags here.

We agree with you, shipping costs can feel a bit much for sending a light weight set of tags in a padded mailer but we have no control over the USPS shipping rates. Postal regulations require us to ship at a package rate, not at letter envelope rate. We charge what the US postal service charges us and add the cost of envelope, shipping label and packaging material. US Postal Service is the least expensive shipping option for very small packages. We have competitive carriers contact us multiple times per year and none of them come close to US Postal Service rates. Please know we are always looking for the cheapest way to ship things with reliable service. - Steve & Rebecca
